Swapping on SelPort
Any item can be sold, swapped, swapped with a cash top-up or left open to offers. SelPort does not rate equivalence and does not move money; it only connects people.
How it works
- The seller lists an item and marks how they are ready to part with it: sale, swap, swap with cash or open to offers.
- A buyer sees the deal modes on the item page and in the seller’s public profile.
- A structured offer (item for item, with or without cash) opens in the next stage. Until then the two sides agree between themselves.
- Both sides confirm the deal. No payments through the site, no “equivalence percentages”.
Deal modes
- Sale
- Sell at a fixed price.
- Swap
- Exchange for another item, no money.
- Swap with cash
- Exchange with a cash top-up either way.
- Open to offers
- Any structured offer: sale, swap or a mix.
Honest rules
- SelPort does not rate equivalence and does not process payments.
- The value band on a card is the seller’s own estimate, not an appraisal.
- The seller’s phone is never shown in the public profile.
- A deal counts as completed only when both sides mark it so.
SelPort does not determine whether items are of equal value and does not process payments. Deal terms are agreed directly between users.
